ABOUT
My name is Brandee Bratton, and I would like to share the story behind the creation of Equestrian Edge Fitness. My journey began in childhood when my Aunt introduced me to the exhilarating world of horses. She placed me on her barrel racing horses, sparking an immediate fascination and connection with these magnificent animals. Accompanying her to rodeos, I was captivated by it all. 

These experiences ignited a lifelong passion for equestrian activities that would shape my future. At 12, I moved to Florida to live with my father, but my love for horses remained unwavering. By 18, I married and expressed my desire to own a horse and barrel race, just like my aunt. In 1993, my husband and I purchased property in Texas, turning that dream into reality.

Despite trying various careers, including real estate, I felt unfulfilled until I discovered fitness. My career flourished, landing me a feature in Woman's World magazine and helping women achieve weight loss goals. Eager to work with athletes, I obtained my USAT coaching certification and achieved Elite coaching status in 2010 at the Olympic Training Center.

However, in 2022 burnout set in, and I found myself yearning for horses again. This led me to study equine massage and holistic nutrition, where I realized the parallels between our well-being and that of horses. Thus, Equestrian Edge Fitness was born—a unique fusion of fitness and equestrian care aimed at enhancing both rider performance and horse health.
